September 11th Memorial

I think that America changed by coming together more. People took others for granted but that day I think we all came together as a nation. Strangers comforted strangers, grudges were forgotten, many found God and heroes were made. When I heard about it I was shocked but it didnt really phase me because I was like thats thousands of miles away. I was in 5th grqade at the time. But then my mom called me and said that my uncles wife works in the pentagon. Luckily she went left to go to a meetimng just an hour before the incident. Thats when I realized that everyone was affected by it. Now looking back on it I think that was something that helped America grow.
